Compounding for Pediatrics
Liquids children can take, at the dose you wrote.
Pediatric oral suspensions are the center of Cambria’s compounding program. When a child cannot swallow a tablet, needs a strength that is not made commercially, or reacts to a dye or sweetener, we prepare a liquid for that child on your prescription.
Common reasons to compound
- No commercially available liquid for the drug or strength you need
- Weight-based doses that are hard to measure from a commercial product
- Dye-free, sugar-free, alcohol-free or allergen-conscious versions
- Flavor that a child will actually accept
For: Pediatricians, family physicians, pediatric NPs and PAs, children’s hospital discharge teams

Can you make this? Ask us.
Not everything Cambria can prepare is listed. If a drug, strength or dosage form is not shown here, tell the compounding pharmacist the drug, strength, dosage form and quantity. You will get an answer, a formula option or a straight no.
