How it works
From prescription to your door.
- 1
Your prescriber identifies a need
An approved product does not fit the patient: strength, form or an ingredient.
- 2
The prescription comes to Cambria
Sent through the prescriber portal, e-prescribing or fax, as allowed under Pennsylvania law.
- 3
A pharmacist reviews the formulation
Ingredients, base, stability and beyond-use date are checked, and the prescriber is called with any questions.
- 4
You get a price, if needed
If your plan does not cover it, we call with the cost before preparing it.
- 5
The preparation is made and verified
Prepared in the nonsterile compounding room and checked by a pharmacist.
- 6
Pickup or free local delivery
Pick up with counseling, or get free local delivery. Shipping within Pennsylvania is launching.

When an Inactive Ingredient Is the Problem
Dyes, lactose, gluten-containing starches and other inactive ingredients can matter for some patients. Compounding can sometimes leave them out.
